Sorbitol

Sorbitol is widely applied across multiple industries. In pharmaceuticals, it acts as a key raw material for vitamin C production. In industrial settings, it serves as a base for surfactants like Span and Tween. Its moisturizing properties make it a glycerol substitute in toothpaste, cosmetics, and tobacco. In food, it functions as a nutritive sweetener, humectant, and antifoaming agent, enhancing texture and shelf life in pastries, surimi, and raisins.

Category
Product Name: Sorbitol
